Anyone who would like to listen and post a comment remarking on their favorite song(s), please do so! We want to know which 2 to send to radio people across the country, and we’re interested in your opinion, because if you’re reading this, you’re special. Simply comment on this post below by clicking the ‘comment’ button. By the way, the top contender at the moment is ‘Listening’, but there is some strong competition from ‘Gone’. All posts will be read and considered carefully.

what a pleasant surprise! not that i would expect anything less of Anton Sword, given his excellent last album, “A Sentimental Education’. But I really do like every song on this atmospheric and diverse City of Oblivion. some of them feel like classics that were found under a rock, on vinyl…tinny and with a slight electro radio buzz…especially the moody, declarations of ‘contaminated’…heartbreakingly beautiful. ‘time is running out like thread’ has brilliant and well crafted lyrics and a cool sense of swanky innocence. ‘listening’ is a great love song and a worthy offering for any post fight make up sesh without being overwrought. i listened to it 6 times in succession and it got better and better.

My vote is for “Listening” and “I Like Your Mind” because I like Anton’s mind and he listens.

I love the entire album. I think the most radio-friendly song is “Anybody Else (The Glove).” Second choice is “Jar of Gin.”

For radio stations choose the catchy intros.
I Like Your Mind
The Lawn

This album is so good you can listen to it through 5 times (as I did) and your “favorite two” fickles your best intent – each time. Impossible to choose only two!

Interesting choices, people above me. I agree with you all.
Mine are: Listening, Jar, Contaminated and I Like Your Mind.
